My Story
We said never again; but here we are! Running the London Marathon 2023 for the NSPCC.
After one of us being fortunate with receiving a London Marathon ballot place; we have decided to both run for the NSPCC again, after running for them in 2017. NSPCC Charity protects children today and prevents abuse tomorrow, to transform society for every childhood, as well as provide education and training. This is can only be possible with charity funding.
With Mary’s background in education, as a retired headteacher, she has experienced the positive impact NSPCC can have and the need for such a worthy charity. As parents, of two wonderful boys, we appreciate the need to protect all children and that every childhood is worth protecting.
We both love running, although our fitness levels are not where they have been, so we are preparing ourselves for the training to be gruelling. We are looking forward to the challenge and hope you can sponsor us.
